PT Outpatient
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Valdez, Alaska
- Start: ASAP
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours or 5x8 hours
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke Foundation
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient Rehab setting
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting
Schedule and Assignment Details
- On-call not required
- No floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Block schedule may be accommodated
- Guaranteed hours: 72 per 2 weeks, with up to 1 eight-hour shift called off per 2 weeks
Unit Information
- Department serves hospital inpatient and swing bed, LTC, and outpatient
Housing
- Housing is provided during the assignment
- Typically 1-bedroom apartments
- Move-in is available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends
- Pets are not allowed
- Housing is typically sized for the traveler only
- Additional family members require approval
- Housing must be cleaned at departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
