PACU Preop RN

Role

RN in PACU / Preop
Travel assignment
1 opening

Facility / Unit

3rd floor
3 PACU beds
Shared position with Preop
Primarily adult patients; ENT cases once a month

Schedule

Days
Some call on nights and weekends
Weekly guaranteed hours: around 40
Weekend hours: on-call coverage
Call response time: 30 minutes to arrive at work after being notified of a case
Orientation is weekly on Mondays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Preferred Qualifications

Preop and PACU experience

Additional Notes

Float scope: no expectation to float anywhere else
Common cases/treatments: appy, gallbladder
Unacceptable attire: open-toed shoes, fake fingernails
