Emergency Dept RN

Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
13-week assignment
36 guaranteed hours per week
Shift: 7PM-7AM
Every other weekend required
Call: none
Float scope: not typically, but it could happen
1 opening
Unit has 16 beds
Patient ratio: 5:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Moderate Sedation (Adult / Peds)
Cardioversion
Transcutaneous Pacing

Triage / ESI Levels / Prioritization
Rapid Assessment
Critical Thinking
Resuscitation
Fast Track
Splinting & Immobilization

Clinical Setting

Emergency Medicine
