Registered Nurse

Overview

Role: Registered Nurse
Specialty/Unit: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
Location: Mission Hills, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 1:4
First-timers accepted: Yes
Locals accepted: Yes
On-call: Yes
Floating: Rotational within division only to competency, including L&D for recoveries and NICU support as directed with feeding, soothing, and changing babies
RTO: Must be noted at time of submittal

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum (3 years of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Fire Card
Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Experience with magnesium sulfate postpartum care
Pending license not accepted
NURSYS verification required for all RNs
