- Unit: Respiratory Therapy
- Location: 3rd floor, Tower A
- 368 beds
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ICU experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NBRC
- NRP
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- CVICU experience
- Nitric
Unit Details
- Staffed by 34 respiratory therapists
- Patient ratio: 36 UOS
- Equipment includes V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO
- EMR: Meditech
Common Procedures
- ABG
- Ventilator management
- Nitric management
- Bronchoscopy
- Intubation assistance
- Nebs
- HFNC
Scheduling
- Weekend shifts are required depending on staffing needs
- Rotating weekends
- No call requirements
