RN - OR

Overview

Travel assignment in Waycross, Georgia
Unit: Operating Room
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0645-1515, with on-call assignments after normal business hours
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
Ability to circulate

231-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:1
Staffing includes RN, CST, ORA, and Coordinator
Equipment used: Stryker
Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
Floating is within Surgical Services departments

Clinical Scope

OR circulator
General, Ortho, Podiatry, OB/GYN, Urology, Ophthalmic, Spine, Bariatric, and ENDO surgical procedures

Additional Notes

Facility-laundered green scrubs required
Patient experience emphasis: AIDET and compassionate care
