Vascular Technologist
Overview
- Contract role in Lancaster, Ohio
- Full-time schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution
- Vascular Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a Vascular Technologist
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience under the supervision of a qualified vascular physician or vascular laboratory
- RVT
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic vascular examinations ordered by a physician
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and appropriately
- Operate medical record and imaging systems appropriately
- Transport, move, and position patients safely
- Assist physicians with special procedures involving the vascular lab
- Maintain compliance with IAC standards
- Assist in precepting students and new employees
- Maintain patient safety and comfort in the vascular lab
- Assist with departmental supplies
- Perform cleaning and disinfection in compliance with hospital policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Medium work, with exposure to electrical equipment
