MRI Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Adult outpatient setting
Spine-only patient population
2 rooms
Average daily census: 25
8-week assignment
Day shift, 5x8 hours: 7:00–15:30 or 9:00–17:30, alternating
No call, weekend, or float requirement
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 3 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARRT (MR)
Experience working with Adult or Geriatric patients
Experience in an Outpatient setting
Musculoskeletal skills: Hip/bony pelvis & Knee
Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
Spine skills: Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/coccyx & Thoracic
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Radiation safety
Starting peripheral IVs

Patient Population

Adults and geriatrics

Equipment / Systems

PACS: Visage
MRI units: Philips Ingenia 1.5T

Scheduling / Start Details

Start date is subject to change based on class and trainer availability
Travelers may start Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week
Must be fully available with no other commitments for schedule changes
Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start
Final start date is confirmed the Tuesday prior to the start week
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite
Additional RTO or call-offs on unit could result in cancellation and DNR
RTO maximum: 7 days for auto offer
