RN - Post Partum/Mom Baby

Assignment Overview

Travel RN assignment in Mother Baby / (660)
26-bed unit
Shift: 7P - 7A
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Post Partum (1 year of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Hospital setting
Lactation RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

Lactations experience
Transitions experience

Unit Details

Day shift staffing: 1 Charge RN, 7-8 RNs, and 1 LC
Night shift staffing: 1 Charge RN, 6-7 RNs
Patient ratios: 1:3, 1:4, estimated never guaranteed

Common Procedures / Responsibilities

Circumcisions
Education of newborn parents on safety, nurturing, and health of baby
