RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wyoming
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- NBRC RRT
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with OB patients
- Experience with intubation
- Experience with insertion of arterial lines
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with pulmonary function studies
- Experience with cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Role Summary
- Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist
- Follow approved protocols and department policies and procedures to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintain airways
- Perform ventilator management
- Insert arterial lines
- Perform intubations
- Conduct pulmonary function studies
- Perform cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Obtain blood gases
