CATH Lab/Angio RN
Overview
- Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
- Unit: Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular
- 13-week contract
- Day shifts with varied times
- 8 or 10 hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Call required, including holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 2 years
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
Clinical Focus
- Procedures include IR, Vascular, and Cardiac
- Experience with angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers, IABP insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
- Basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
