RN Rapid Response

Overview

Travel assignment in Labor and Delivery
6-week contract
48 hours per week
Shift: nights and days
No call requirement
Weekends: alternating
No RTO or special scheduling

Unit Details

4th floor
32 beds
Patient ratio: 1:2
High-volume unit with 1,000+ deliveries per month

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN
Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
SVE competency
Experience circulating for C-sections
Rapid Response experience

Preferred Qualifications

Internal monitor placement competency
Previous HCA assignment/employment
Experience in a Level IV unit

EMR: Meditech
Permanent positions are available on the unit
Scrub color: navy blue
T-shirts are not acceptable; only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are allowed
