RN Tele
Overview
- Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Unit: 4 West Adult Med Surg
- 34 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Telemetry rhythm capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Unit Details
- Day shift staffing: 1 Charge, 6-7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 Huc
- Night shift staffing: 1 Charge, 5-7 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 Huc
- Day shift patient ratio: 1:4-6
- Typical procedures: IV fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, IV antibiotics
Floating
- Other med surg units
- Holding Pod of ED, occasionally
Schedule
- Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period
Additional Notes
- EMR: Cerner
- Dress code: Navy Blue
- Must follow HCA policies
- Attend huddles at 0650 AM shift or 1850 PM shift
- Must clock out and in for meal breaks
- Must clock in no earlier than 0638 or 1838 depending on shift
