Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Apple Valley, California
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
- 12-hour variable day shifts, Sunday through Saturday coverage
- On-call required
- Weekend coverage required as needed
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
- Guaranteed hours are subject to call-off once per two-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- No pending license accepted
- RTO must be included at time of submission
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with surgical procedures outlined in the unit description
Unit / Schedule Details
- OR RN
- Call is estimated at 70–90 hours in a 6-week period
- Shift options include:
- 06:30–19:00
- 06:30–19:00 with on-call from 19:00–23:00
- 09:30–22:00
- 10:30–23:00 with on-call from 23:00–07:00
- Weekend/holiday call: 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00
