Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Torrance, California.
- The assignment is on TCU, described as REHAB/SUB ACUTE.
- TCU is a distinct part of the facility’s sub acute care with an 87-bed capacity and a rehabilitation focus.
- The unit is a Skilled Nursing facility with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 8:1.
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 23:00–7:30.
- Hours: 36 per week.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Transitional Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- Transitional Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Skilled Nursing experience
Additional Details
- On-call requirement: Pending.
- Float requirement: Pending.
- Block scheduling: Not accommodated.
- RTO must be included at time of submission; approval depends on facility needs.
- Guaranteed hours: facility may call off once per two-week pay period.
- Parking: Free parking.
