RN Med Surg

Overview

Travel RN assignment in Athens, Tennessee
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
1 opening
No call
No float requirements

Unit / Setting

Medical/Surgical floor
Trauma Level 3
Adult and geriatric patient population; no pediatrics
Current max patient load is 18, with plans to increase to 24
Patient ratio: 6:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Critical care thinking

Clinical Focus

Common diagnoses/treatments include pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, and DVT

Additional Notes

Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
Scrubs: any color
Casual wear is not acceptable
