Emergency Dept RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Emergency Department on the 1st floor of the Main Hospital
24 beds, including 5 fast track
Patient ratio: 4:1
Variable shifts: Days 7a/9a/11a, Evenings 11a/1p/3p, Nights 7p start
4 weekend shifts per schedule
Scrub color: navy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS
ENPC

Unit Details

Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and 4-9 nurses, with techs and paramedics used as needed
Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and 9-4 nurses, with techs and paramedics used as needed
EMR: Meditech
