RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Salem, Virginia
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Unit: Blue Hills FSED, Emergency Dept
- 8 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
Preferred
- ENPC
Unit Details
- Type of equipment: GE
- EMR: Meditech
- Typical care includes high- and low-acuity ED patients, medication administration, critical patient care, and labs
- Staffed with day shift RN and EMT coverage, plus night shift RNs
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
