PCU RN
Role Overview
- Travel RN position in PCU
- 1 opening
- Shift: 7P-7A
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience with cardiac drips
- Rhythm recognition
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS
- PCCN certified
Float Scope
- Float to med/surg and ED/ICU overflow
- ED/ICU float is for PCU or lower acuity patients
- ICU competencies may be needed if the nurse has ICU experience and is comfortable caring for ICU patients

- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Adult and geriatric patient population
