Emergency Dept RN
Role Overview
- Travel RN backfill for the Emergency Room.
- 1 opening.
- 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Rotating weekends/as needed.
- No call.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 5 years of experience in Emergency Department.
- Emergency Department experience within the last year.
- ACLS.
- BLS.
- NIH.
- PALS.
- Handle with Care training is required and available on-site.
- Must complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form.
- Must consent to random drug screening.
Preferred
- Lots of Emergency Room experience.
Unit Details
- Emergency Room with 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms.
- 7 of the 31 beds are used for Behavioral Health or Acute patients.
- Patient ratio is 1:4.
- Serves all ages.
- Float as needed.
Additional Notes
- Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays.
- Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel.
