IMCU/Step Down RN
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN in IMCU/Step Down
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- 48 hours approved
- Floating between units is required
- Weekends required: 6 shifts per schedule period
- Expected ratio: 1:4
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Experience with cardiac drips
- Experience with post cath lab procedural care
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with mechanical ventilation
Experience / Clinical Background
- IMCU/Step Down experience
- Cardiac drips
- Post cath lab procedural care
- Trach/vent care
