ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Mission Hills, California
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 16 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- 36 hours per week
- First-timers accepted: No
- Locals accepted: Yes
- Weekend requirement: No
- On-call requirement: No
- Floating: Yes, to PCU and ICU overflow
- RTO must be noted at time of submittal
Unit / Clinical Setting
- High-acuity ICU assignment with strong Neuro experience required
- Patient population includes cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gun shots, stroke and STEMI center, motor vehicle accidents, and ortho
- Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
- Also includes 12 overflow beds
- Clinical mix includes CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, sepsis, and surgical patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NIHSS
- LA Fire Card
- Strong Neuro experience
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience caring for CABG patients
- Experience with Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center care
