ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Mission Hills, California
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Float scope: PCU and ICU overflow
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Strong Neuro experience
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience caring for CABG patients
- Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
- Certifications required: ACLS issued by American Heart Association, BLS issued by American Heart Association, NIHSS, LA Fire Card
- First-timers not accepted
- Pending license not accepted
- Locals accepted
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement

- High-acuity neuro population
- Level 2 Trauma
- Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
- STEMI receiving
- CABG/Valve/IABP
- CRRT
- Sepsis
- Surgical
- Cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gun shots, stroke and STEMI center, motor vehicle accidents, ortho
- 12 overflow beds

- RTO must be noted at time of submittal
- Charting system: Epic
