Overview

Travel assignment in Fort Worth, Texas
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Shift options: 3x12s or 4x10s
Schedule includes 6–7 days plus 1 weekend per month

Unit Details

First Floor OR
7 beds
3 staff
Day shift staffing: 1 OR RN and 2 CSTs
Patient load: 4 to 5 cases per team
On-call requirement: 4 to 5 call days at MCAL
Floating: shares staff between Surgical Hospital and Alliance campus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with orthopedic surgery procedures (total joints, hip replacement, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankles and feet, mid foot joints)
Experience with plastic surgery procedures (breast reduction and expansions, breast reconstruction)
Experience with podiatry procedures

Preferred

At least 3 years of experience for Circulators and CSTs
Not requesting time off

Positive, hard worker, and willing to take trauma call at main
