**Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Float RN!** **Job Description:** - **Exciting Opportunity:** Work in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Med Surg Unit for a comprehensive nursing experience. - **Flexible Assignment:** 16-week assignment with tiered rates based on mileage; options available for travel, radius, or local assignments. - **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Float between ED and Med Surg Tele, handling a full ED assignment and a Med Surg patient assignment (1:5 ratio). - Charge experience preferred to assist in leadership roles within the units. - **Schedule Flexibility:** - Minimum of every other weekend required; adjustments made to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. - Must be available for at least 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. - **Requirements:** - Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC or proof of class with date applied must be included in application). - Previous travel experience: At least one assignment required. - Minimum of 2 years of in-unit experience in relevant fields. - Charge experience highly preferred. - Recent EPIC experience (within the last 2 years) is mandatory. - **Additional Information:** - Monday to Sunday shifts available; no block scheduling. - Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays. - All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in detail. - Complete work history required for submission (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.). - **Important Travel Notes:** - Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental) is strongly advised. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
