RN Med Surg
Role Overview
- Travel RN MedSurg assignment in Denton, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift: 7A-7P
Unit Details
- Medical Unit 610
- 43 beds
- Main building, 5th floor
- Floating may include the medical unit and ER for med/surg hold nurse capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- BLS
Preferred
- Meditech experience
Unit Notes
- Typical procedures include any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open neuro surgery
- Rotating weekends required
- Self-scheduling allowed within reason of a balanced schedule
- Team-oriented and willing to ask questions when unsure of processes
