Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Emergency Department experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
2 or more completed travel assignments
ACLS
BLS
PALS

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC
Cerner experience

Job Details

36 hours per week
No call required
No floating required
Unit has 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
Patient ratio: 1:4
48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
One major and one minor holiday may be required
Maximum RTO: none, as long as FTE and weekend requirements are met
Navy scrubs required

Role Summary

Responsible for providing patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Provides shift accountability, coordinates nursing care, and supervises assigned personnel
