Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Jacksonville, Texas
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:30–15:00
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Clinical Setting

Operating Room
Cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, ENT, and Pain
Call is split between 3 RNs, averaging 10 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
Drivers License/State ID

Education verification
NURSYS verification
State license verification
Clear headshot for badge
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire within 90 days of start for positive results
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season

Unit-specific skills checklist
7-year work history verification

Preferred Qualifications

PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI as applicable

Additional Notes

Travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties are not contracted
