**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Float Pool RN Travelers!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: RN for ICU Float Pool - **Assignment Length**: 16-26 weeks - **Mileage-Based Tiered Rates**: - Traveler must be ready for: - **Travel**: 101 miles and above - **Radius**: 51-100 miles - **Local**: 50 miles or less - **Holiday Commitment**: Must work 2 out of 4 key holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. - **Flexible Floating Requirements**: - Float within the central pool ICU. - Will float to areas outside of your designated pod. - Units of like skill and ability, including ED boarders and surge areas. - **Primary Focus**: - Medical ICU and overflow neuro. - Required to float to SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4. - **Key Responsibilities**: - Initiate IVs. - Manage multiple titrating drips and critical ventilator care. - **Required Experience**: - Multi-system disease management. - CRRT, IABP, ECMO, COVID-19 management, ventilators, and multiple drips. - **Scheduling**: - Flexibility required, with a minimum of every other weekend. - Schedule adjusted based on unit and patient care needs. - **Scrubs**: Any solid color scrubs are acceptable. **Requirements**: - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certification (CCRN preferred; NIHSS required before start). - Minimum of 2 years of experience. - Large (500+ bed count) teaching facility experience required. - Hemodynamic device experience is a plus. - Typical patient population experience needed: post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma-level 1, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU. - EPIC experience from within the last 2 years is non-negotiable. **Additional Information**: - IVs to offer. - Monday to Sunday schedule. - No block scheduling available. - Bi-weekly orientations every Monday. - Please explain any employment gaps over 90 days. - All work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete for submission. **Disclaimers**: - Public transportation is NOT available; reliable transportation is essential. - Personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
