Diagnostic Imaging Tech

Contract length: 13 weeks
Location: Vail, Colorado
Shift: 4, 10s rotating shifts
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
RDMS or ARRT (S)
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience performing radiographic and ultrasound examinations

Role Summary

Performs ultrasound examinations, reviews them for technical accuracy, sends completed examinations to the radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to the care team
Identifies patients, reviews exam orders and demographic information for consistency, and maintains patient and staff safety
Maintains department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, infection control standards, universal precautions, and HIPAA compliance
Uses HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation
Monitors supply inventory and keeps exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat
