Exercise Physiologist CWR
Overview
- Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
- Contract length: 11 weeks
- Shift: Day, 7a-3:30p
- Hours: 40 per week
Required Qualifications
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- Hard skills: Exercise Prescription, manual BP, glucose monitoring
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Personal Trainer
- Exercise Specialist
- Clinical Exercise Specialist
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Role Summary
- Develops and implements individualized exercise programs.
- Performs fitness testing and exercise orientations.
- Evaluates patient health history before developing exercise plans.
- Reviews and writes exercise prescriptions based on stress test results and sub-maximal fitness tests.
- Provides patient education and counseling on risk reduction.
- Assists or administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation when necessary.
