RN - Emergency Dept
Role Overview
- Travel RN in the Emergency Dept
- 1 opening
- Shift: 11A-11P
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
- Call coverage needed 24/7 to cover daily volume
- Patient population is primarily adults; unit also serves geriatrics
- Unit has 17 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Facility services include ED, Critical Care, Med/Surg, Acute Rehab, OB, Pediatrics, Cath Lab, Diagnostics & therapeutic radiology, Wound Care, Pain Clinic, Sleep Lab, and Pathology
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Similar size experience
Additional Details
- 36 or 48 hour guarantee can be accommodated
- Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
- Contract length: 13 weeks
