Overview

Travel/Contract role in Kodiak, Alaska
Start date: ASAP
Shift: 3x12 variable
Contract length: 26 weeks
First timers accepted
Weekend work required
Floating within scope may be required
Block scheduling is not available
Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Pending license is not accepted
RTO is based on request
Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks, with the possibility of being called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Typically 1-bedroom apartments
Move-in is available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends

Housing is typically sized for one traveler only; additional family members require approval
Housing must be cleaned at departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
