Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Aurora, Colorado
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
- 48 hours per week
- Unit: 41 ORs, Level 1 Trauma Center
- Ratio: 1:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Neuro patients
- Experience with General surgery cases
- Experience with GU/GYN surgery cases
- Experience with ENT surgery cases
- Experience with Plastic surgery cases
- Experience with Epic
- Must be able to float to other UCH ORs
- Must be available for occasional float to 08:45 and 10:45 starts
- Must be available for occasional float to nights, up to 3 shifts per contract
- Weekend and on-call coverage as needed

- First-timers accepted: No
- Guaranteed hours: No
- Requested travelers who completed a full year on assignment should not be rebooked for at least one year
- RTO limit: 10 days maximum
- RTO not allowed during:
- October 25 – November 4, 2026
- November 22 – December 2, 2026
- December 20 – January 3, 2027
