RN - Med Surg Telemetry
Overview
- Travel RN backfill assignment
- Medical/Surgical - Telemetry unit
- 1 opening
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend / as needed
- Call as needed
- May require travel within 25-mile radius of the facility
- 41 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Serves all ages
- Common diagnoses/treatments include post-op orthopedic procedures and total joints
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Handle with Care
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- None stated
Additional Notes
- Must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- No specific scrub color required
- No casual wear
