Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Steamboat Springs, Colorado
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12s, mostly nights
First-timers accepted
Weekend requirement: 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule at a minimum
On-call not required
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units
Unit has 10 beds: 5 LD rooms and 5 PP rooms

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Experience circulating for C-sections
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Experience in clinical leadership and a desire to mentor RNs

Preferred

Rural healthcare experience
