BMT/ONC RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado
- Rotating schedule
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts: Night (19:00–7:00) or Day (7:00–19:00)
- Weekend requirement: yes, per unit needs
- First-timers accepted: No
- On-call: No
Unit / Setting
- 51-bed unit
- Cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T
- May float between the BMT/Onc and CTU units
- May float to sister facilities based on facility needs in the metro region
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience: 2 years of experience
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Chemotherapy administration experience required
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- ONC
Preferred Qualifications
- Willing to screen an RN with 1.5 years of experience

- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3–4:1
- Ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
