Overview

Travel RN role in Critical Care Step-Down
3 openings
7p-7a shift
36 guaranteed hours per week
Work every other weekend for 24 hours
No call requirements
13-week contract
1st to float

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience
Experience with Meditech

Preferred

Post cardiac cath care
Peritoneal Dialysis

Unit Details

Floor: CCSD
Trauma Level: 3
22 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
Patient population: 18-year-old and up

Additional Notes

Must know Meditech
Equipment includes cardiac monitors, suction, O2, and vital sign machines
Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiac, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, CHF exacerbation, post-op, and CIWA
Scrub color: Navy blue
