RN - Emergency Dept

Role Overview

Travel RN in the Emergency Dept. (780) in Boerne, TX.
Assignment length: 13 weeks.
Shift: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Call: No.
Weekend coverage: rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule; holidays per unit policy.
Floating: required, as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
PALS
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

Meditech experience preferred

Unit Details

Documentation system: Meditech
Unit procedures include urgent care, stroke/STEMI, and pediatric care.
Unit has 15 treatment rooms, including two trauma/cardiac care rooms, five emergency/treatment rooms, four fast-track non-urgent treatment rooms, and four observation beds.
