Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Hamilton, New York
Schedule
- 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New York
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
- ACLS
- BLS
Job Responsibilities
- Interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Consult with physicians to develop treatment plans
- Monitor and record progress of treatments and document in patient charts
- Treat patients using methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and/or sitting
- Infrequent bending, stooping, or stretching
- May require lifting up to 20 pounds
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Use of office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, or copiers
Additional Notes
- Flexibility in hours is required to accommodate occasional early or late meetings
