SICU
Role Overview
- Registered Nurse assignment in SICU/ICU.
- 13-week travel/contract role in Aurora, Colorado.
- Rotating shifts on various days of the week.
- First-time travelers are accepted if experience requirements are met.
Unit Details
- 24-bed ICU.
- Level I Trauma Center.
- Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Care includes patients from multiple surgical service lines, including Surgical Oncology, Gyn Oncology, Vascular, Orthopedic Spine, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Transplant, Obstetrics, and Poly Trauma.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week.
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
- On-call is not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH.
- TNCC.
- TCAR.
- ATCN.

- Charting system: EPIC.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- Ratios: 1:2.
