RN ICU

Overview

Travel RN role in ICU
Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Shift: 7A-7P
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Float requirement: Yes
Contract length: 13 weeks
Number of openings: 1
Trauma level: IV
Unit has 10 beds
Patient ratio: 1:3 in ICU
Patient population: Adult

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

General ICU experience
Cardiac drips experience

Float Scope

May float to Stepdown (Intermediate), Telemetry, and MedSurg when there are no ICU patients

Additional Notes

Lower ICU volume
ICU is currently combined with the Medical Unit and can provide care to ICU patients
Will consider 1 year of experience with travel experience
36 or 48 guaranteed hours available
Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
