Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele
Location: Bricktown, New Jersey Unit: 4 West Employment Type: Clinical
Role Overview
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Assess patient needs, set care priorities, and develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions, manage patient care, and document care according to standards of practice.
- Support evidence-based practice and provide patient-centric care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Shift: Night, 7p-7a (12-hour shifts)
- Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekends: Every other or as needed
- Holidays: Required
- On-Call: Not required
- Float: Required
- Scrub Color: Navy
Required Qualifications
- Education: ASN
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting, with a strong Med Surg/Telemetry background
- Certifications and Licensure:
- NIHSS
- Telemetry
- BLS-AHA
- ACLS
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: BSN
- Experience: 3 years of experience
