Travel assignment | 13 weeks | 36 hours per week

Location and Unit

City/State: Houston, Texas
Unit: Inpatient Hold Unit, second floor, main building
Beds: 14
Staffing: 8 nurses and 4 PCTs. Day shift has 2 nurses and 1 PCT; night shift has 2 nurses and 1 PCT.
Patient ratio: 1:6
Equipment: Cardiac monitors, vital sign machines, IV pumps
Typical procedures: IV insertion, lab draws, Foley catheter insertion
Float scope: Med/Surg, IMU

Requirements

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Telemetry experience (1 year)
Telemetry experience within the last year

Work Schedule

Alternating weekends and holidays
On call, if any
