Employment Type: Travel, full-time Location: Texarkana, Texas Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Mids, 10 AM to 8:30 PM, 12-hour shifts

Summary

The CT Technologist performs a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, supports other imaging technologists as needed, and helps facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The role requires flexibility to work other shifts and/or other campuses as needed. The CT Technologist troubleshoots basic maintenance, participates in QA, and resolves issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs examinations and procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of licensure, certification, and documented competencies
• Ensures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly
• Follows downtime procedures and escalates problems or issues as needed
• Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel
• Provides meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians
• Participates in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• CT Technologist experience (1 year)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) or NMTCB
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
