Description

Diagnostic Imaging Opportunity

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Facility: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule

Day shift
1-2 call shifts per week
1 weekend per month

Work Setting

Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures

Job Duties

Verify integrity and expiration of sterile supplies
Prepare patient and equipment using sterile technique
Prepare equipment/supplies for sterilization post-procedure
Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
Provide patient comfort and familiarize patients with equipment
Apply monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
Use sterile and aseptic techniques during procedures
Advocate for radiation safety; wear personal dosimeter and minimize exposure
Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports

Education & Certification

Graduate of an accredited radiology program
ARRT(R) certification required
BLS certification required
