Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Sidney, Montana
Facility: Sidney Health Center
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a busy obstetrics department. Provide high-quality care for women and their newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Immediate start preferred but negotiable.

Responsibilities

Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs)
Serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care
Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery

Unit Overview

Fast-paced environment caring for women and newborn infants after childbirth
Critical role in guiding patients through childbirth and postpartum journey
Team-oriented setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

Must be labor-trained
Certifications required: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
