Occupational Therapist - Contract Opportunity

Job Description

• Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy treatment.
• Administers treatments and physical agents to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
• Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning while adapting to their capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Additional Information

• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing is extremely expensive, especially in winter. Consider nearby towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs for housing options.
• Typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt is around $3,500/month. Travelers with a lower housing budget may not be suitable for this assignment.
• Not accepting any Return to Office (RTO) requests formally, but accommodations will be attempted.
• Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (approximately 8,000 ft elevation).
• Disputes must be reported within 30 days to be considered.
