Job Opportunity: Surgical Technologist (Contract)

Job Description

• Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist (ST) with broad experience in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and other specialties.
• Candidates lacking a full breadth of current experience will not be considered.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week (start/end times negotiable).
• Call schedule: Approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend on call, with 1-2 calls per week split between two call teams. Call requires a 30-minute response time to arrive onsite.
• Possible holiday call rotation depending on patient census and staffing.
• May be required to float to General OR and/or Outpatient Surgery Center during times of low census/high demand.
• Critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation are essential.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred but not required.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
• Call and shift hours may vary and are documented on the facility time report.
