Diagnostic Imaging - Contract Position

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• 1-2 call shifts per week
• 1 weekend per month

Work Setting

• Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure

Job Duties

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on sterile supplies
• Prepare patient and equipment using sterile technique
• Prepare equipment/supplies for sterilization after procedures
• Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
• Provide patient comfort and familiarize patients with equipment and supplies
• Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
• Use sterile and aseptic technique when scrubbing into procedures
• Advocate for radiation safety and protection; wear personal radiation dosimeter
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required

Experience

• No explicit years of experience stated; assume standard for Diagnostic Imaging roles
